Crom Saunders is currently the Director of Deaf Studies at the American Sign Language Department of Columbia College, Chicago.

Fred Michael Beam, professional actor, dancer, choreographer, and director.

Cassandra “Cassie” Simmons

Cassie Simmons is an ASL storyteller and comedienne. Born in Detroit, Michigan and the only Deaf in her family, Cassie began drama and singing hands in schools at Detroit Day School for the Deaf and Michigan School for the Deaf.

Keith Wann

Keith Wann has been performing since 2002 with a Sign Language Improv group. Combining side splitting physical humor, with heartfelt real life stories from his childhood as a hearing child with Deaf parents, has become his comedic trademark. Keith is on the Board of Directors of Signs of Hope International and we are grateful for his contribution to the Fundraiser as well as the whole Signs of Hope Mission.

Introducing Brenda Palmigiano

Brenda Palmigiano teaches ASL at Rochester School for the Deaf. Her hobbies include writing and performing Christian songs in ASL on YouTube, and teaching whole food plant based workshops.

Returning Performer Thomas Silva

Thomas Silva is a magician who is currently a TikTok Creator.

Peris T. Bristol
Peris T. Bristol

Persis T. Bristol, native of Brooklyn, NY, has been an American Sign language interpreter since 1996 serving mostly in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area. Persis holds both RID national certifications and NAD Master’s Level certification.  As the first African American student to graduate with a bachelors’ degree from Bloomsburg University Interpreter Training Program, she has worked to continuously advance the interpreting field with a focus on Black interpreters as a mentor and leader in various local and national organizations.  Persis works for the state as a full-time staff interpreter in the Department of Behavioral Health. In addition to her interpreting work, Persis has also been a Doula (Professional Childbirth Assistant), a licensed Weehands ™ instructor (Baby Sign Language classes), and she currently sings and performs with The Trey Clegg Singers©, a multicultural semiprofessional choral group.  When she is not busy with all these endeavors, you can find Persis at home with her wife, four children and two dogs.
